SARNIA – The World lost a goody, as his friends would say.

Lambton College and Lambton College Athletics are deeply saddened to share that Kevin Simmonds, Head Coach of the Lambton Women’s Soccer Program, passed away on Tuesday, June 2nd.

Kevin was an integral part of our Women’s Soccer Program and our Athletics Program as a whole for more than two decades, and he was a cornerstone and visionary in the soccer community at Lambton College and across Sarnia-Lambton. Equipped with a friendly smile and welcoming demeanor, Kevin’s love and passion for football was contagious, and he leaves behind a lasting impact on the game for so many that extends far beyond the sidelines, and one that will live on for years to come.

Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family, his friends, the Sarnia Girls Soccer Club, the players he coached and the coaches he worked alongside during his time with the Lions.
